Wind Spectator - Rising Stars. Named one of four "rising Stars" i the California Cavernet issue: November 2017

"I was deeply impressed by the two wines I tasted from Perliss. This hillside site planted with See Clone Cabernet yields firm, savory Cabernets built on a very classic sense of structure. Winemaker Aaron Pott is doing brilliant work. Perliss is one of the most exciting new estates in Napa Valley. There is little doubt about that."

"Perliss is starting to make waves with its Cabernet Sauvignon from the small, organic Ravens vineyard in the hills above Calistoga. The Perliss family owned this uncultivated property for 25 years before deciding to plant a small vineyard. They hired wine making consultant Aaron Pott and produced their first vintage in 2011 (incidentally, theirs was one of the best wines from that notoriously difficult year). The wines from this property are powerful, savory, and compelling."
